I posted my reading monsters coloring pages a few years ago but now that I have a toddler again I’ve been making all sorts of felt toys for her. Someone must have quite the stash because I can always find piles and yards of felt at my thrift store – it’s great! Anyways here are simple directions of how I made our Monster Reading Buddy finger puppet.
Monster Finger Puppet Materials:
Monster Finger Puppet Directions:
- Cut two pieces of felt in a finger shape – make sure it’s large enough for a finger to slide into but not SO large that it’s difficult to wear.
- Hot glue inside around the edges leaving the bottom edge open so you can slide your finger inside.
- Cut out 2 “horns, some spots, and a mouth. Hot glue them all in place.
- Hot glue googly eyes on. You’re done!
