DIY Monster Reading Buddy Felt Finger Puppet

I posted my reading monsters coloring pages a few years ago but now that I have a toddler again I’ve been making all sorts of felt toys for her. Someone must have quite the stash because I can always find piles and yards of felt at my thrift store – it’s great! Anyways here are simple directions of how I made our Monster Reading Buddy finger puppet.

Monster Finger Puppet Materials:

Felt: (any colors you want will work) purple, orange
Scissors
Googly Eyes
Hot Glue & Glue Gun
Black felt or Pipe Cleaner

Monster Finger Puppet Directions:

Cut two pieces of felt in a finger shape – make sure it’s large enough for a finger to slide into but not SO large that it’s difficult to wear.
Hot glue inside around the edges leaving the bottom edge open so you can slide your finger inside.
Cut out 2 “horns, some spots, and a mouth. Hot glue them all in place.
Hot glue googly eyes on. You’re done!
