Have Your Very OWN #DisneySide Party!

With our Disney trip looming ahead I was so excited to participate in a #DisneySide party where we celebrated all things Disney! We had tiny babies through great grandparents at our party so we had quite the variety of ages that attended! Knowing that we had such a big variety of ages we decided to have a DIY Disney themed character party!
Above you can see our Countdown Chain which we decided to create as one big family. All of the cousins loved working on the chain together as there are 18 of us heading to Disney in just 2 months!
Almost all of our decorations were DIY and we covered all of our favorite Disney characters – not just one theme! That’s the great thing about loving Disney – you can have themed parties or general parties – even if there’s no birthday! From princesses to Baymax, Perry the Platypus and more – we covered quite a few favorite shows!
We also decided to create this Monsters Inc inspired banner since we will also be celebrating my son’s birthday at Disney (Magic Kingdom specifically!). So a few of the kids helped me put together this simple banner.
We handed out these great luggage tags at the party!
And included in our kit was also this banner to cut out and decorate with for our party. And don’t forget about making your own Disney t-shirts!! We showed all the cousins how to create their very own Baymax t-shirt!
Overall it was just a blissful day of Disney fun! Remember, you don’t have to go to Disney to have fun, you can bring Disney to your house and enjoy the magic at home!
