Every little boy I know LOVES Thomas! Who is Thomas? A blue train that obsesses the minds of little boys in a fun and playful way! Along with his friends, Percy, James, Gordon, Emily, and the other trains and engines, this game is guaranteed to be a big hit with your little one!
Misty Island Rescue is for ages 2-5- which I think is definetely right on target. My son is 3 years old and had no problem playing this game completely on his own. This game offers educational opportunities for numbers & counting, language development, puzzles & problem solving, matching & memory, and so much more!
Learn pre-math skills, colors, shapes, spatial orientation, memory, and many other pre-school basics with Thomas, Sir Topham Hatt, Harold, and all of the friends from Sodor Island. Some of the games include putting puzzles together to unlocks other scenes, basic matching games, switching tracks around to help Thomas reach his friends, distinguishing the moods of the trains, matching the building shapes into the right places, moving pieces off of the track so that Thomas can keep going, counting with Thomas to keep him on time, and more games! There are different levels of this game that must be unlocked by solving other puzzles first.
My son absolutely LOVED this game. Throughout the computer game there are video clips of Thomas & his friends showing little mini-movies which were a real hit. He loved being able to unlock new ‘levels’ by completing different tasks. He also seems to really love the independence this game provides. He can open it up on the computer and begin playing all by himself- which makes it nice for mommy too!!! Even if your child cannot count or complete memory match tasks I really think that it is simple enough to really captivate their interest as well.
I DEFINITELY recommend this computer software!! I even played it at night while my son was in bed to see what it was all about! There are a lot of Thomas videos included and Sir Topham Hat makes lots of announcements. I am SO glad that we had the opportunity to review this product- this has got to be one of my son’s favorites. If your child is interested in computer games at all, or is obsessed with any sort of locomotive- this is definitely the game for them. It is a fantastic easy-beginner computer game that requires little adult interaction if desired.

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has had any trouble downloading Misty Island Rescue Computer program? It won’t download and I just got an email from Nova Development saying it was an older program and could not help me. Thank. Pat
