I am receiving a gift code in exchange for this post by partnering with Global Influence and Shutterfly.

Every year when the holidays come I look for ways to add a personal touch to gifts and cards. So since I’ve been getting holiday e-mails and notices I decided to check out the Shutterfly 2013 holiday card collection. I haven’t even begun to think about getting holiday photos yet but I knew if I found a card that I really liked I could take my photos specifically to design into that card. Especially now that we live somewhere that gets VERY cold and wintery!!

And of course for the grandparents I’m always checking out the photo gifts – one year we made ornaments for them….and photo books are always on the list too. Last year I made my husband a beautiful desk plaque for his office and I just loved it! It seems every year I try a completely new style for our cards! Last year we even had our pictures done at the beach! Some years I do folded cards, some years it looks more like a postcard. Sometimes one large photo, others a bunch of smaller photos. Either way it always makes me smile because I remember the happy memories from the year! Then I collect one of our cards from each year and save them in a box so I can see how my children have grown!
