Eitech Mini-Helicopter Construct Kit Review

Eitech is a German company that makes fantastic quality educational metal building kits! Since launching their American company they have expanded their products to a really nice selection! If you are ever looking for any building or construction type kits for your kids I highly recommend Eitech products. All of the kits are made of high quality steel and come in a huge variety of difficulty as well as price range. You can find kits starting at $7.99 up to exclusive kits for hundreds of dollars. And they have  nice Beginner’s kits now for your younger children as well (you can read my review for one of these kits here). These kits, in my opinion, are far superior to the Erector sets we have played with.

The directions are included, as well as all of the metal construction pieces and a small screwdriver. This was actually the first time that we had tested out any of Eitech’s basic construction kits and we LOVED it! This particular set has some very tiny pieces though so be forewarned when you dump the pieces out!!

This set is geared for ages 6 and up which is a really good age to start at. The directions are very simple to follow, and you only need a few screws in place in order to build this helicopter. Building this mini-helicopter would be very simple for your children to do without adult intervention (unless they are younger!). I love that these pieces are made of steel- it means you can’t break them!! They are extremely sturdy. I also love that when you screw the pieces into place they stay in place! We have built other kits and the pieces turn while playing with them, or the nuts fall off causing the toy to fall apart- it’s so frustrating! With all of the Eitech products I have reviewed the kits always start in place once you build them, yet can still be taken apart if you want.
