Phone Apps to Help You Plan the Perfect Date & Stay Organized

Instead of celebrating Valentine’s Day together this year my husband and I decided we’re going to set up the perfect date night to go see Beauty & the Beast when it hits the theaters next month! I’ve really been looking forward to it and that gives us a whole month to plan! My daughter has been battling pneumonia this week so I’m definitely dreaming of going out with no kids on the perfect date night just for me & my husband! Thanks to my Samsung Galaxy S6 I can stay plenty organized with tons of resources right at my fingertips.
If you’re planning on going to a popular movie or restaurant I highly recommend reservations! I know sometimes as parents we don’t get the chance to go out often and when we do we’re usually so tired we just sit at the coffee shop. Try something new! Above we were in the basement on a fun ghost hunting tour we took on a date. Normally we’re not into paranormal stuff but it was awesome fun to try something new!
Below are some apps you can use to stay organized, plan, and find new things to do on your date!
Phone Apps to Plan the Perfect Date:
OpenTable – this is a great app when looking at where to eat! You can book a reservation at restaurants across the country as well as read reviews and find general information on each restaurant. You can even use Apple Pay so that you can pay with your iPhone too.
Poynt – this app provides you suggestions based on your location which is especially helpful if you’re hitting a new area of town. Resources at your fingertips!
Bouqs – never forget to send flowers again! This special app allows users to buy flowers and even have them delivered the same day! Automatically send flowers to selected occasions and remember special anniversaries!
Vivino – not sure what wine you want? Just snap a photo of any wine label to find pricing, ratings, reviews, and food pairings for that wine! This comes in handy when you’re home-cooking a special meal!
Date Night by Care.com – this app can help parents find babysitters in their area as well as open up OpenTable and Fandango to help plan out your dinner and movie.
