Amazing Volcano Lightning

Have you ever heard of volcano lightning? It’s evidently an unexplained mystery to scientists- but they think that when some of the magma flies up it reacts with the atmosphere. I definitely learned something cool today! The above picture was posted on National Geographic from a volcano in Japan.
The ones below were from a volcano in Iceland.
