Making Clothes Store Coupons Work For You!

It’s always a good idea to get on your favorite clothes stores mailing lists. Sometimes you get a really great coupon in the mail to use in store-even if you don’t normally shop there because of the prices.

A few weeks ago I received a $15 off $15 coupon at Lane Bryant! I hardly ever shop there because of they are more expensive, but they have some really nice stuff! I was surprised when I got my mail because usually it their coupons are like $10 off $50, or something similar. SO I gave my husband the coupon and told him if he wanted to get me something he could use my coupon because I knew I didn’t have the time or energy to go (I was sick).

A few weeks later he surprised me and took me by Lane Bryant with the $15 off coupon I had given him! When we went in their clearance items were an addition 40% OFF! Combined with my $15 off I knew I’d find a good deal! I found TWO, yes TWO nice light long sleeved sweaters to buy- our total? $1.98 plus tax- total!! Wowee!!

I was SO happy and my husband got kudos for dragging me out there! 🙂 I know JCPenney’s sends out great coupons sometimes, and occasionally I get something from Old Navy.

  1. Awesome deal!! I love pairing a coupon with the clearance section. I think I've found all my kids' clothes that way… and most of mine! 🙂

  2. I did this at Kohls not too long ago! Fiance and I were able to stock up on water filter cartridges for the coffee machine. Not glamorous, but something we'd have to pay for anyway!

Thats a good idea Eppie16! I never know what to pick for a "smaller" freebie deal- will have to remember that!
