Living Within Your Means
  • May mean you need to cancel your cable, phones, timeshare, or gym membership.
  • May mean you don’t get a chance to go to the movie theatre or drama play, or even get a babysitter.
  • May mean you can’t go out to eat, or you may have to bring your lunch to work.
  • Means NOT charging something you can’t afford to pay in full.
  • May mean you don’t have the newest clothes or the most newly decorated house.
  • Will show you who your friends really are.
  • You will not have debt, thus being a happier person with less stress!
  • May mean you have more creative family time, and that’s always a plus.
  • Will give you more chances to clean your house!
  • Helps you to appreciate the little things in life and the gifts that come along the way.
  • Will teach you how to be resourceful with what you do have.
~These are just a few things that I have learned on our family’s journey while surviving a teacher’s salary!~
