Old Magazines? Have a Scavenger Hunt!

Have a stack of old magazines laying around? Hand your kid a pair of scissors, and go on a “scavenger hunt” in the magazine! You can look for things like 10 birds, a red dress, a yellow car, etc. If you have a little bit of extra time you can pre-set it up with an actual list that the kids have to find in the magazine. Each child can have different magazines or they can team up and look together in one magazine.
I will be adding this to my list of summer-things-to-do while I keep my grandkids. They love to get on the golf cart and go around the neighborhood on scavenger hunts. This one will be good for a rainy day….or more likely a day too hot to play outside. Thanks for the idea.
