Gomu Collectible Erasers Review

Have you heard of Gomu? I hadn’t, but once I had then I started seeing them everywhere! Gomu is the new (and only!) collectible eraser. Each eraser that you collect (there are over 100!), has a different point value, and the higher the point value, the more rare the eraser is-which means it’s harder to find.
You can collect erasers in the following categories:
  • Pet
  • Surf
  • Zoo
  • Fashion
  • Ocean
  • Beauty
  • Home
  • Gadgets
  • School
  • Music
These are the packs of Gomu erasers that I received to review. You’ll notice how you can see some of the erasers, but several of them are covered so that it will be a surprised when you open it up! I have to admit, I couldn’t wait to tear open my packs to find out what was hiding underneath the secret panel! It’s the mystery of the unknown- and you may just be lucky enough to receive a rare eraser under one of those panels (although I did not).

Here is some closer shots of the erasers- they really are quite cute. Some how fads always sweep through kids and our schools and I have to say that I would definitely prefer it to be something useful like erasers! (although most kids won’t actually use these erasers….) When I was done playing with my Gomu erasers I donated them to my hubby’s classroom as special prizes. Of course all of his students knew what Gomu erasers were- and they were SO excited to have the chance to win some for their collections!

This really isn’t the best picture below, but I wanted to include is so that you can see with every Gomu package you buy you will get the special Gomu collectible eraser list. Kids can use this to keep track of which erasers they’ve received and collected. You can also keep track of your collection on Gomu’s website as well!

Overall, I think these Gomu erasers are neat. I can definitely see how kids would get hooked on trading them and collecting them! They are really cute erasers- what a unique and useful idea to make collectible erasers! They make great prizes for students in the classroom, and are budget friendly as special gifts to your kids! Are any of your kids or students into Gomu? I’d love to hear about it!
You can buy Gomu’s at Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kmart, and ToysRUs!

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this review. I received some erasers. All opinions are mine.
