TIME FOR YOUR CHECK UP!!

Disney Doc McStuffins

My kids LOVE the “Time for Your Check Up” song from Disney Junior’s own Doc McStuffins: Time For your Check Up DVD! It’s debuting May 7, 2013 and my kids were absolutely psyched to have a new Doc McStuffins DVD in the house! I have two boys, ages 6 and 4 years old, and they both just LOVE Doc McStuffins! And you know what? Mommy loves it too!

Doc McStuffins is 2012’s #1 cable TV series for kids ages 2-5 and it’s not hard to see why. The cute cartoon has catchy songs, kind compassionate characters, and plenty of bright colors! Doc McStuffins is the story of a 6 year old girl who heals broken toys and stuffed animals in her backyard playhouse clinic. She has a trusty team of stuffed animals that helps her including her best friend Lambie, a proud dragon named Stuffy, a snowman named Chilly and Hallie – her hippo nurse.

Episodes included:

1. Gulpy, Gulpy Gators! / One Note Wonder
2. Tea Party Tantrum / Blast Off!
3. Arcade Escapade / Starry, Starry Night
4. Bronto Boo-Boos / Brontosaurus Breath
5. Doctoring the Doc / Hot Pursuit

PLUS the DVD package comes with a FREE growth chart which is always fun for kids! My kids love seeing how tall they are, and then checking it as they grow even taller! As a mom I LOVE Doc McStuffins not only because it’s actually enjoyable to watch but it teaches my kids to help others who are hurting and to have compassion when someone else has a need. It’s all about thinking of others and seeing how you can help them – and I know my kids always need that reminder! I definitely recommend Doc McStuffins to my friends. It’s a clean good-hearted show for kids that teaches them good moral values. Plus it really sparks my kids creativity as they have spent countless hours playing nurse and doctor to their cousins, to each other, and with their friends and stuffed animals. In fact my kids even get all dressed up in their little doctor outfits with stethoscopes and even beg me to use my Ace bandages as wraps so they can play doctor!

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this review. I received a DVD to watch in order to form my own opinions.
