Ingenio by Smart Play has joined us once again to participate in our Back 2 School bash! Smart Play is a bilingual and educational toy company that has puzzles, games, cards, and electronic learning toys. One of their newest products, Zafari, features the English/Spanish alphabet on animal puzzle cards. Zafari has won the Creative Child Magazine’s Puzzle of the Year award!
These thick durable puzzle cards each feature a letter with animal on one side of the card, and a picture of the animal with its name in English and Spanish on the back of the card.
For some reason these 2 pictures are revolting against me- but I included them anyways because I wanted to show you that the letter each card represents actually pops out of the card!
So not only do these nicely illustrated puzzle cards help your child to recognize their alphabet letters and learn the names of the animals in both English and Spanish, but it also strengthens their dexterity and matching skills as well.
My son is 4 years old and he loves these puzzle cards! They are very durable and easy for him to pop out the letters in the middle. The letters in the middle also do a pretty good job of staying in place as well when you put the puzzle together again which was nice. All of the pieces easily fit in the Zafari box that it comes in, although if you want to keep all of the cards together you will need to use a rubber band to keep them in place. Overall we really like this puzzle! It is certainly unique to other alphabet puzzles I have seen, and I love that it includes both English and Spanish!

    I would LOVE to have the Ingenio Easy Translator (Spanish) for my classroom. The geographic area I live in would benefit from using this in my classroom as many of my students will be English Langauge Learner!
