WHOO!!! For many of you it’s already summer vacation, for the rest of us it’s almost here!!! My good friend over at The Frugal Free Gal has a GREAT list of 20 Fun Summer Activities for Kids  which have some great thrifty ideas to do with your kids this summer! I know our family will be doing ALL 20 things on her list over the next few months!! What’s your favorite one?

I just wanted to give you the heads up that if you needed anything I might be temporarily unavailable for a few days. I have some great things set up to post for today & tomorrow (including great giveaways EACH day at 7pm!) but I am headed in for surgery right now and am not sure how long I’ll be in for. Don’t worry – it’s nothing too serious! It’s supposed to be outpatient but it’s one of those “we’ll know when we get in there” kind of things and I may have to spend the night. Everything posted for the next few days will automatically post onto my Facebook page as well so you can follow either for some fabulous guest posts from some great bloggers! We have some fun educational giveaways at 7pm each night which are would make great prizes for BOTH teachers & parents!

I can’t tell you how excited I am for summer, but honestly, I’m slightly dreading it too. Crazy huh? I love having my normal routine, and summer certainly throws that routine off quite a bit!! This week is our last week of school and in 5 our family is supposed to be heading up north to visit family if my surgery goes well. I know….I think it’s a little crazy too. Trying to balance the blog with all of that gets a little, OK A LOT crazy! 🙂 I’d LOVE to hear about your summer plans and activities? Leave me a comment so I can come back and smile at all the fun things you’ll be doing this summer!! Do your kids love the zoo, the aquarium, the pool/beach? What’s your favorite activity?
