Deborah over at Teach Preschool has generously agreed to let me share her great project that she did with her preschoolers this week in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday! She’s got some great preschool activities so make sure you head over to her blog for some neat activities!!

The students at our school have been busy with Dr. Seuss week…
The children have been listening to the many stories written by Dr. Seuss and expanding on those stories through art, math, cooking, science, and play…
As I walk around the classrooms and see so many activities based on children’s books – I get all excited!
What a wonderful thing to be able to connect children’s literature through all content areas of the classroom…

Brain Insight recently posted a list of ideas and shared how using Dr. Seuss books can help support brain development…

If you have ideas to share, I would love to have you linky up here. I would like to keep this a resource of ideas for next year…

This is a photo shared on Teach Preschool of a really cute Cat in the Hat shared with me by Karen Ellis Harrington! I love it!
