Star Kids Snack and Play Travel Tray Review

Star Kids makes this really useful Snack & Play Travel Tray which is perfect for road trips- big or small! It is a tray WITH sides AND side pockets that your child can put in his/her lap to play, color, eat, or read books!

I loved the fact that it has sides on the tray-they are sturdy sides too- not flimsy ones that keep falling down. The pockets on the both sides can hold anything from books, dolls, toy cars, snacks, or sippy cups! To be honest I might use it myself just to keep things organized in the car the next time we go on a road trip! So that the tray doesn’t fall off of your child’s lap, it has a strap that you put around the back of your child, then buckle the tray around his/her back. My son had no problem with this at all. It just seemed like another seat belt buckle. I was really impressed when I saw the buckle on the travel tray. When I looked on Star Kids I must have missed the part where it says there is a buckle on the tray. I kept wondering how I would keep my son from dropping the tray- until I got it in the mail. It is a very neat idea! What’s another buckle when you’re toting around small children?

I was surprised how sturdy the tray was- it’s not flimsy at all! It’s really nice to keep crayons from rolling of your kiddos lap while they are coloring!! Not to mention those zillions of cars my little boys like to have in their lap. Now I don’t have to turn around every few seconds to pick up the toys that they dropped! I only wish that I had this on our huge summer road trip! If it gets dirty- just wipe it down with a damp cloth!

This product has won all sorts of awards the last few years. It is so simple, and so affordable, I definetely recommend this product for small children while traveling! It will make your kids happy to have everything close at hand, which will definetely make you happy too!
