It’s getting to be crunch time in our house with state assessments, school music practices, family coming in, and blogging projects for the holidays so I focus on finding and creating meals where I can easily make plenty of leftovers so we can stretch them out for lunches and dinners throughout the week – and sometimes even freeze them for later! I wanted to share with you a super simple and quick recipe that you can either warm up in a pot on the stove or dump into your crockpot. It’s great for adding extra snacks in the teacher’s lounge, making a meal for a sick friend in need, or a quick go-to meal that you can make at home and turn into a lot of different meals.
You’ll need:
1 24 oz. pkg frozen cooked Johnsonville Classic Italian Meatballs
1 14 oz. can Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry Sauce
1 12 oz. bottle Heinz Chili Sauce
Just dump them all in the same slow cooker and cook for 4 hours on high. Or combine the sauces in a saucepan on the stove, cook on medium heat, and then add meatballs!
It’s SO easy to make and you can use it for everything from eating by itself, meatball sandwiches, teacher’s lounge snack, move/game night appetizer, potlucks, and more! These are so tasty! Even my son gobbled it down. Serve it with other easy foods like canned or frozen veggies, veggie chips, Jello or other quick side additions. Serve them in the pot or add toothpicks in a dish for easy grabbing!
