Make a President Puppet with Popsicle Sticks

This is an awesome craft that can be adjusted depending on which president you are studying about!  We started by choosing the penny, Abraham Lincoln, and began by coloring our craft stick black with a marker. ( You can also paint them) then glued on the penny for his head, and  he was easily finished off with a basic top hat, bow tie, and shirt  from scraps of  construction paper. This made a perfect Presidential puppet. This project is simple and easy for kids to complete mostly on their own. You can even use it as a bookmark! Make sure to adjust the “outfit” depending on which president you choose!
