Best Day Ever at Wyndham Grand Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort

After we spent the morning in the Kid’s Club here at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek we kept the kids busy with activities here on grounds. But by bed time – my kids were SO wiped out! In fact they even went to bed early!! My poor little guy fell asleep sitting on the couch before 7pm – with his lollipop stuck to his pants!! How precious!
First we played at the playground – there were two here around the resort. It was a good size and there were other kids to play with. Swings, slides, benches, sand volleyball, hopscotch, tic tac toe, and checkers! Here are my 2 favorite shots of the boys playing there.

After lunch and naptime we promised the boys to take them down to the lazy river – there are also two of these as well! My oldest son was just in absolute heaven – lazy rivers are his favorite! We spent hours just playing there – and so did a flock of ducks! In fact two of the ducks decided to hop in the pool while we were swimming! My kids thought that was hilarious!

This weekend for us was not only about visiting the resort and learning about all of the wonderful things it has to offer, but it was also about being together as a family, and making memories. People go on vacations for so many reasons – to visit family, to be together as a family, to relax, or to get up and find something enjoyable to do! We made plenty of memories here this weekend! Hubby and I are hoping we can come back for a weekend getaway again!

We finished the day playing mini-golf, which was great! …..well…..until my oldest son whacked himself in the eye with the golf club! LOL That wasn’t so great for him….which also means mommy didn’t get pictures because we cut the game short. Well, actually he wanted me to take a picture of his eye but I won’t show that one! It’s a bit scary!

To finish up the night we let the boys each have their lollipops that were in the kids welcome bags when we arrived and we enjoyed them in front of the firepit by the poolside. In fact my kids even tried to “roast” their lollipops in the fire!
Disclosure: My family stayed at the resort courtesy of Wyndham. No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own.

So much to do!! Sounds like such aa great place, would you even need to leave the resort?

Nope – I was just thinking about that today. You could literally just come here for a vacation. We will have been here Fri. afternoon to Sun. morning and could easily spend another few days around the resort without leaving. There are several pools, 2 lazy rivers, an arcade, a kid's club, pool table, ping pong table, spa, 2 water slides, 2 playgrounds, outdoor grills, and more!

  3. That sounds like a huge resort!
