Hanging Out at the Kid’s Club – Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

One of the many things that has made our weekend great here at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek is that they have schedule activities throughout the day. So if you have a down day on your schedule or you simply want to hang around the resort like we’ve decided to do this weekend you and your kids can join in on some pre-planned activities. This morning we took the boys down to the Kid’s Club which is a room full of crafts, a Wii and TV, and goodies to create!
We got down there and you can tell the kids were just waiting for the doors to open! I have to admit – it looked pretty fun!
On today’s activity list was decorating cookies!! What kid doesn’t love that? The boys each got their own plates, cookie, icing, and sprinkles!!! Which I must say is a pretty dangerous thing to see because then your cookies end up like this:

The room definitely looked like a kids room! Bright colors, crafts displayed, and plenty of artsy crafts!
After we decorated cookies the kids also got to make their very own snowflakes! Then we were off for lunch! Later this afternoon there are water games, scavenger hunts, and more crafts! The cool thing is right next door to the Kid’s Club is an arcade room and also an adult/teen room too!
In the adult/teen room there is also a pool table! There is SO much more to do at the resort but this morning we spent our time down in the kid’s areas. Pretty cool huh? In the afternoons for an extra fee you can also drop your kiddos off for some fun activities but they have to be at least 5 years old so mine don’t make the cut this time around. I appreciate that there were “down time” activities planned we could attend to fill up our day at a leisurely place.
