Collecting and Saving Autumn Leaves

Autumn is a GREAT time for your kids to collect leaves for the season!! The kids can make their own nature journals using construction paper, printer paper, notebooks, or brown paper bags! Instead of just having their leaves in a box or strewn all over your house they can glue their leaves into their nature journal!
Depending on the age of the child they can identify them, make leaf rubbings to study the veins, etc. Need to flatten your leaves out a bit? Put your leaf between two sheets of wax paper and lay a heavy book or object on top!
