BJ’s CreativeWare Beverage Dispenser and Fruit Punch Recipe

I have been to Sam’s, Costco, and BJ’s Wholesale Club and I have found that BJ’s not only has some of the best prices, but they have the absolute best variety. Unfortunately we do not have a BJ’s in our county (check your closest location here!), but we also jump at the chance to go to BJ’s! They have a great new summer outdoor entertaining collection that I love! We received their 2.5 gallon Beverage Dispenser which retails for only $14.99! I can’t believe how much this holds!! And it doesn’t take a lot of counter space room either- it is nice and tall!
The Beverage Dispenser has a few great features such as the fact that it is bpa free!! I didn’t even know they made anything other than smaller bottles bpa free! It is also shatter proof- which is a HUGE bonus with my little kids around! Another really cool feature that I like is that the base detaches from the actual dispenser and has a large cavity in it for ice! That way you don’t have a ton of ice melting in your drink and watering it down. I thought that was pretty cool.
My husband was so excited when he saw how nice the beverage dispenser was that he was inspired to fill it up immediately with a homemade fruit punch! When he showed me the recipe he wanted to use I though for sure it wouldn’t all fit in the dispenser- no way! But sure enough, every last drop fit in it!! Here’s what we used for our fruit punch recipe:
8 cups of water
1 can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup lime juice
1Â can of pineapple juice
2 2L of ginger ale
1 L carbonated water
fresh strawberries and oranges to garnish
For the fruit punch I actually dumped it all inside the beverage dispenser and mixed it in there! Less dishes to have to clean!! Above you can see the ice cavity in the base of the dispenser all filled up. I added about a cup of ice into the punch itself, but this ice base did an impressive job at keeping the punch cold. I was really surprised!
Although we couldn’t throw a party in time for this review, I can guarantee you that we’ll be using this beverage dispenser at every opportunity possible! Even if it’s just one other family coming over for dinner! It’s an impressive display and the price is fantastic. For as huge as this beverage dispenser from BJ’s is, it actually completely fit on my countertops under the cabinets, and we were able to place the entire dispenser (minus the ice base) in the refridgerator as well! It’s a really good sized dispenser, but it seems to fit perfectly everywhere I want to use it.
