Twig Terrariums Review

Twig Terrariums is a company started by two friends who make- yep- you guessed it- terrariums! But these aren’t just any terrariums- they are so beautifully unique! They create moss terrariums and other small worlds in science glass, kitchenware, antiques, apothecary jars, and any other odd glass jars that they find! Each unique terrarium also contains a miniature figurine which can vary from a man fishing, a lost cow, or even a dinosaur attack! In fact they even take custom orders!

We received our Le Petit Singularite terrarium kit in a simple pretty box. Once we opened it up we noticed everything was bagged individually, and there was an easy to follow set of instructions inside!

It was very simple to set up our terrarium! We needed to soak one specific bag of moss overnight. (shown above) Our kit had a small rectangle amount of moss to soak.

After our first bag of moss had soaked overnight we soaked the above bag of moss for just a couple of minutes. I was so excited at this point- we were ready to design our terrarium!

Everything in Twig Terrarium’s kits are included-including the jar! You can see above how I have both bags of moss soaking. While the moss was still soaking in their bowls, I added the river rocks into my glass jar. Then I stuffed gently one bag of soaked moss over top of the rocks.

Next I poured on the bag of dirt which came next. And finally I added the last bowl of soaked moss on top. I was so excited to design this terrarium that I didn’t even realize Twig Terrariums had included an extra amount of product in each bag! I put ALL of it in- so my terrarium is very very full! Oops! But that is the beauty of these kits. There are no two kits alike- you can design yours exactly how you want it!

Once all of the moss, rocks, and dirt were set in place, it was time to decorate the top with the little man that was included in my kit and place the cork on top!

Voila! We had a beautiful terrarium and wonderful piece of art to enjoy! I loved it! I have always loved and been fascinated by terrariums and the ease of care that they offer. Twig Terrariums truly has a unique product that they offer and I love it! I wish I could afford some of their large terrariums….maybe someday when the kids are older and I know they won’t mess with it!!
