Our family is always looking for ways to cut bills, and I know it won’t be that far off before our son will be asking for a cell phone! I recently learned about Zact mobile service which lets you pay only for what you use, and if you don’t use it all during the month you will get the money applied toward your next month’s bill! In fact the average bill is $22 per month.
You can pick voice, texting, and even data plans a la carte which is perfect for those families who don’t want their kids to have data plans! It works off of the Sprint cellular and data network which means it provides you with nationwide coverage which is really great for us because we are a serious road trip family! (saving money, remember?!) We love traveling and exploring the country but don’t want to have to worry about not having cell phone reception wherever we go.
Zact has partnered exclusively with Best Buy Mobile specialty stores to offer their products which is REALLY helpful (it used to be sold online only) because that means you can actually go into a Best Buy Mobile Specialty store, talk to someone who knows how to use it, and see it for yourself in person rather than just randomly ordering it online. There is no contract with Zact AND it’s shareable! Which means siblings and families can share the same pool of talk, text and data that you pay for without having to pay for those “extra line” fees.

Whenever my kids do get cell phones I definitely want parental controls on it! Plus then you don’t have that extremely overpriced phone bill because your kids decided to talk all night or stream movies too long on their data plans!
