What Makes My Daddy a Hero?
A Guest Post from My Kids
(with a little help from mom)
Tiny Prints is having a special Father’s Day Campaign that I thought would be really fun to participate in! I decided to interview my 4 year old and ask him questions about Daddy. Typically for Father’s Day we make him a nice card, make him breakfast, buy him his favorite candies, and be extra nice to him for the day! Usually we hand-make our cards, but Tiny Prints has some REALLY cute cards for dads!! You can even add your own photos on a lot of them!! I loved some of them to get for grandpa! I also love the categories for dads. There is even a “like a dad” section- which is an awesome idea for those of us who don’t have a dad. (like me!) I wish I had seen those cards growing up!
Here is my interview with my son:
Q:What makes your Daddy a hero?
A: I don’t know.
Q: What does your Daddy do that you like?
A: Tickle me-I like that.
Q: Do you love your Daddy?
A: Yes.
Q: When I say Daddy- what do you think of?
A: Hero power.
Q: Anything else you think of when I saw Daddy?
A: Eggs!
Q: What do you like to do when Daddy is home?
A: I don’t know.
Q: What do you want to do when Daddy comes home today?
A: Check in the hot tub for a frog.
Q: What do you want to for a special Daddy’s Day this year?
A: Check in the hot tub for a frog.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about Daddy?
A: Egg-super power!
As you can see my son got a little crazy before we finished our interview! But both of my boys LOVE their daddy! I couldn’t ask for a better husband or father for my kids! Every day when he comes home from work the kids simply have to hear our garage door opening and they run out of the house screaming “DADDY DADDY!!!”. I love it! Let’s do something extra special for our dads this year- they work hard!
