We’re Strawberry Picking today!

We are out strawberry picking today!! Last year a local strawberry farm opened up their fields for FREE for 2 days! This year we are going back to the same farm which is charging $3/flat for a local charity. We had a good 5-6 gallons last year and are planning the same this year. My oldest son especially plows through strawberries like they’re candy! I have more pictures from our trip last year that you can read on my post about Saving Money on Produce here!
How fun! Sounds ike a great day out we went apple picking in the fall. I think I might take a look around my area to see where we can go strawberry picking. Thanks for sharing 🙂

I only wish I could be thinking of strawberries right now! We've got at least two more months before we can even think about eating fresh strawberries. Have lots of fun! I love that the farm is giving the proceeds to charity, and at $3 a flat, I'd have my family out there working from dawn to dusk! LOL
