Stocking up at #MurphyUSA for our Thanksgiving Road Trip!

Last week we stopped at our local Murphy USA to stock up on snacks for our road trip down to Grandma’s house. Even though it was only 3 hours away we always have food in the car with our kids in tow!! I was thrilled to see that gas prices hadn’t gone up! Whenever we go on a road trip the two must-have snacks for our family is beef jerky and Combo’s! We were planning on being gone for an entire week, but only need enough snacks for the road trip.
The one thing I really love about our Murphy USA gas station is that the prices of snacks are the same as in our Walmart store! I hate stopping for gas on the road and finding that snacks are triple the price just for the convenience! Not so here!
They even had a little bit of Christmas decorations at our gas station! How fun!
Going down to grandma’s house is a tradition every year for our family. We load up on snacks/drinks for the road trip, then spend the week fishing, swimming, and having fun with grandparents and great-grandparents! During the holidays having convenience items like snacks on a road trip are so nice!
I just LOVE the holiday season! Not only is it filled with yummy food but for us, it means more quality family time together! My husband is a teacher so he gets one week off at Thanksgiving and two weeks off at Christmas. Holidays mean a lot to our family!
