Space Camp, LEGO League & Other Robotics/Space Programs

If you live anywhere near the Stennis Space Center in southern Mississippi they have some absolutely fantastic programs to offer and the prices are very reasonable! They have Saturday day camps for ages 7-12 for only $25 a day! Stennis is NASA’s primary location for rocket propulsion testing and I bet these camps would be a blast! They also have other daycamps, workshops for educators, and programs for homeschoolers!

I also just learned about the LEGO League – which is for various age groups in learning to build Lego systems using applied math and science skills all across the US (you can search by state). Is anyone a part of this? They have a Jr. league open to 6 years and up that I would love to find out more info on for my son when he turns 6!!
