Starting tomorrow (March 20-26) is National Bubble Week!!! And this Little Tikes 3D Bubble Camera by Imperial Toy is perfect for your little ones to enjoy throughout this week and the summer! My son LOVES my camera but it is way too expensive for him to play with so when I saw this Bubble Camera I knew he would LOVE it!Â
It comes with Super Miracle Bubbles Premium Solution. I appreciated having the bubbles to start me off right away! I also noticed immediately how kid-friendly and sturdy this product was. The handle is very easy to grasp, even for special needs children. In the back of the camera (see above) is a clear window so that you can see how much bubble solution you have left in it which was really nice. The top of the camera (where you would normally click to take a picture) has a spot to fill the bubbles in with a cover valve so they don’t fall out.
Once I got over how cool the bubble camera was I noticed that it had a 3D viewer on the front! So you squeeze the handle on the side to make the bubbles come out of the camera lens, and then you look through the view window to see your bubbles in 3D action. I’m honestly not sure that my little guy even knew the difference but as you can see in the pictures he loved looking through the window so he must have thought it looked pretty cool!
I just loved how this took imaginative play one step further – not only do all kids love taking pretend photos and pretending they are a great photographer but this camera enhances their imagination with the bubbles everywhere. My oldest son kept begging his little brother to take pictures of him so that he could play with the bubbles!
The packaging was surprising as the camera was actually screwed into the packaging so it took us a little while to get it out! It also needed 2 batteries. I’m not sure why but we had a problem getting our bubbles started. After fidgeting with it for a few minutes my husband was able to get it to work and it blows out a TON of bubbles! Another really nice feature is that you can run water in this to clean it out. As a mom I know bubbles tend to get everywhere so I was very thankful that this camera did not leak no matter how my son shook it, AND that I can wash it out when the kids are done playing with it!Â
