Literature Mondays: Henry’s Awful Mistake

Another one of my childhood favorites that I have passed on to my son, is Henry’s Awful Mistake 
written by Robert Quackenbush. A hilarious book (which still makes me chuckle!) about poor Henry and his quest for a clean house. In his house he finds an ant, and in the effort of ridding his house of the pest he ends up splattering food on the walls, breaking pipes, flooding his house and thus ends up with no home. When he moves into his new house…..he spots an ant…..and looks the other way. A cute story every child will love.
