Friday Night Family Movie Night – How to Train your Dragons 2 #DragonsMovieNight

Every Friday night (OK – almost every Friday night!) for the past several years now we’ve designated Friday night as our family’s movie night. During the warm months we break out the projector and show movies for the neighborhood on the side of our barn. In the winter months we have movie nights indoors. Recently one of my kids new FAVORITE movies came out – How to Train Your Dragon 2! So we decided to make a big surprise of the night with some simple and inexpensive touches! First we brought out our themed plates, cups and napkins, then cut out some dragon pictures and pasted them onto the front of brown paper bags (filled with snacks for the movie of course!).
Snacks, themed plates, and coloring pages was certainly enough to get my kids excited about the movie! If you haven’t seen the first (or second) movie I HIGHLY recommend it! It’s a GREAT family movie!

How to Train Your Dragon 2 is a fantastic family movie. To be honest I might enjoy the movie even MORE than my kids – maybe just a teensy weensy bit. My youngest to the oldest in our family just love this movie. It’s full of action, great graphics, a captivating story line with all sorts of twists that keep you on the edge of your seat! It’s a good clean movie for any age to watch!
