A Few Ways to Make Extra Money Online
For those of you looking to make a little extra money online, I thought I’d share a few ways that I have done in the past to help make our budget stretch a little bit further. It takes a lot of time & hard work, but every once in a while we did make a little bit of extra money. Enough for some extra groceries, or even a little date out with the kids! As you know if you are on a super tight budget- every little bit really does help!!

Online Toolbar Searching Benefits

My favorite and EASIEST way to make a few extra bucks is by using Swagbucks. For us we just use their search toolbar, and they randomly award us “swagbucks” or points that add up and can be cashed out for $$, gift cards, and a TON of other things. I love it because I don’t have to do anything special for it- I already search online so it’s an added benefit!

Sell Things Online or in Local Facebook Groups

Another way to make a little extra money once in a while is selling things on Craigslist, Amazon, Etsy or eBay –  even reselling items in local Facebook groups. This does take some time to set up and a little savvy know how but if you’re looking for a few extra bucks- see if you’ve got some old textbooks, nice kids clothes, movies, furniture, etc. that you don’t need anymore. Some people literally spend their entire weeks scouring thrift stores to resell items online!

Starting a Blog

You’ve probably all seen it – self made millionaires in high school by making YouTube videos, flashing some beauty on Instagram, or wiling away behind a screen seemingly doing nothing. Although there’s always the rare exception you can certainly make money by blogging – but it’s no quick get rich scheme! I spend all hours of the day working, blogging while traveling, and doing all sorts of crazy side hustle to make it work. That being said I absolutely LOVE what I do and definitely wouldn’t change it! Below is the beginning of a “How to Start a Blog” series with specific tips for teachers too.
