Dollar Store DIY crafts are some of my favorites and turning a project into a gift is even better! Succulents seem to be all the rage these days, and you can create this look for less when you give this DIY succulents planter a try.
It only costs a few dollars to make and when you are done you will have a real life succulents look for less money and less work. You can use it to decorate and bring some green into your house or pass it along as a teacher appreciation gift!
Terra cotta flower pot
Craft paint in choice of colors
Faux succulents (Sold at most Dollar Tree stores)
Small craft pebbles
1. Begin by adding your flower pot designs. You can do this with your craft paint and craft brush. Just crate some random striping and allow to dry.
2. Once your paint is dry, you can add your succulents. Remove them from the plastic pots they come in. Fill the pot with the craft pebbles. These will help hold the succulents in place.
3. Add your succulents. Stick them deep into the stones so they are secure. Your succulents are now ready to be displayed. They won’t require any sun, water, or care! Just set them out and enjoy.
