DIY Rolling Cube Tables Idea

Aren’t these adorable? These would make awesome book/toy storage in your classroom or in your kids room!! Lowe’s has directions on how to make them! They have the project estimate at $243 which in my opinion is way overpriced! BUT it’s a super cute idea for activity centers and storage. If you have an IKEA near you you can check for wood leftovers in their “As-Is” section. If you know someone handy who has leftover scraps of wood they will be able to make you one for MUCH MUCH cheaper than Lowe’s estimated cost! Don’t forget to check on Craigslist and your local thrift stores for inexpensive storage solutions as well!! You can find this project on Lowe’s here.
You can also look for old wooden crates and just reinforce the sides with steel and add casters on the bottom to make them moveable! You might be able to find something like this to use at a local flea market or small grocer!
Oh my goodness I love these! They would look really cute in our playroom
these would prolly work! If you turned them on their side just reinforce and add detailing with wood molding, but at $30 each still pretty expensive, but much cheaper than Lowe's estimate! http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90171709/
I saw these on pinterest and loved them! My brother-in-law is a "picker" and picked up a couple crates for me to clean up and turn into something wonderful! Thanks for the post.
