Thanks to Melanie I got a GREAT deal on these Crayola Dry Erase Activity products at Target!! They were on clearance for $6.95, and when you bought 2 you also got a $5 Target gift card!! These are great for your kids to keep busy in the car or at home, and great for those kids that love art, but I bought my 2 products for a different reason!

My son is highly gifted in the area of language comprehension and development, but quite lacking in the area of minor motor skills. So I saw this purchase as an educational aid to helping improve his very lacking minor motor skills- in a fun way!! In the past I have bought these cool maze books, and Kumon workbooks which are absolutely fabulous- but get very pricey very quickly!! These Crayola Dry Erase Activity centers allow me to slip in pictures and worksheets, let him write over top of the clear cover with dry erase markers, and wipe it clean for the next time!!

One box that I bought included cardboard worksheets that I could slip in the clear cover so he can practice writing his letters, numbers, shapes, etc. And the other set I bought that you see in the picture above, is Crayola’s Dry Erase Activity Zany Play set! It included maze worksheets, connect the dots, drawing faces on people, how to draw cats & dogs, and a myriad of other fun things to help my son hone in on his writing skills.

As soon as I purchased this and brought him home to show my husband, who is an elementary school teacher, he begged me to go back and buy him 4 for his classroom! Sadly the store had sold out as I had bought the last two. But teachers, this is a great purchase for your activities centers in your classroom! It has MANY uses in the classroom as well as at home- both educational and just for fun!

A small price for these goes a long way- and would make a fabulous Christmas or birthday present for both the kids and the teachers in their classroom! The only downside to this buy was that the dry erase marker does not completely erase off with the given eraser, so you will have to wipe the cover clean after each play time. It comes with one eraser, and 4 markers, and the worksheets as well to use. As you can see from the above pictures the ‘slate’ has a section to hold the markers and eraser too.

You can find this product in most mass retailer stores (Toys R Us is always running Buy 1 Get 1 50% off sales on Crayola products), and also online HERE.
