Peaceable Kingdom Press has these awesome cooperative learning games that they just launched this year! There is no reading required which makes these games great for a wide variety of ages and languages! So what exactly is a cooperative learning game?
A cooperative game is a game where ALL players play TOGETHER to meet a common goal, or in this case- win the game! Instead of the traditional games where you play indiviually to win, everyone has to play together to win- you either ALL win or you ALL lose!
Peaceable Kingdom has five different cooperative games to choose from. You can click the name of the game to find it on Peaceable Kingdom’s website, or click ‘review’ to read my review of each game.
My family and my husband’s school has met great success and enjoyment with these games. It’s amazing to watch the children and students try to play these games together and observe their attitude and ability to work together as a team.
A few comments from teachers:
“I knew my kids didn’t get along, but these games showed me how awful they treated each other. We have a lot of work to do- these games are perfect!”
“As a teacher of 30+ years I have never seen such enticing colorful children’s games that actually teach them to work together- what a fabulous idea!”
“I wish our entire school had these games- our students really need to learn to work together.”
Peaceable Kingdom has offered one of my readers to win a set of ALL FIVE cooperative games! (Value $75!) This would be an awesome gift for a grade level at your local school. Or keep a game or two for your kids then donate the rest of them to their teachers!
