Ever wish you knew what to do with your pretty pineapple rind after gutting it of all it’s juicy fruit?
Not only can you plant the top that you cut off and it will regrow but after using a pineapple corer / slicer to take the fruit out I save my pineapple rind! Yep seriously! As soon as I’ve poured the juice out of it (we drink it!) I put the entire rind right into the freezer and freeze it. It’s GREAT in the summer for serving juices (if you didn’t cut a hole in it anywhere!) or my favorite is filling it with fruit and serving it when guests come over! It’s a fun and unique way to get one more use out of it!
