Playing with Crayola Outdoor Colored Bubbles

Our family LOVES hands-on fun and yes, we even welcome messy play! I had heard about Crayola’s Outdoor Colored Bubbles – some things good some things bad – so I was really interested to try them out for myself! I actually bought some for my boy’s Easter baskets and then was offered the opportunity to try out this fun Outdoor Bubble Launcher set with extra Outdoor Colored Bubbles!
I love Crayola’s promo video for their bubbles because it shows you exactly what this product does – make a mess and bring a lot of fun!

We made sure the kids were in their play clothes and headed outside to try out the colored bubbles! I was surprised that the bubble launcher is a hand-crank which I thought was interesting – we certainly saved on bubbles since the kids didn’t incessantly hold down a trigger! And the bubbles are indeed very bold colors! AND yes, they made a mess, BUT contrary to what I’ve been told they were SUPER easy to clean off. The solution seems very soapy on your hands so I did have to wash my hands a few times but that’s not surprising considering they are bubbles!

The kids thought it was SO cool that their bubbles were colored. Knowing that they would be messy (what bubbles aren’t?) and knowing that the color would come right off was great! You can see some of the bubble mess below:

Just a quick swipe with my finger on my son’s face immediately took it off! I couldn’t believe it – it definitely comes off simply. And the stains on the ground came off with a simple hose off. I had no problems with any permanent stains on clothing either – it all washed right off.
If you’re looking for some messy outdoor fun this spring I think your kids will love these bubbles! Make sure you put them in some play clothes, head them outdoors, and just rub the bubble colors right off their skin!
