Literature Mondays: I Know a Rhino

It’s been a little while since we’ve done our Literature Mondays series so I wanted to start it back up again! Once of our favorite well-loved preschool books is I Know a Rhino 
 by Charles Fuge. It is a magical world about a little girl who has tea with her friend the rhino, has mud fights with her friend the pig, dances with her friend the ape, and many other fun and exciting activities with her animal friends. By the end of the book you see the little girl walking up her stairs with all of her friends. She plays with her friends in so many fun ways each day because they are her stuffed animals. I love how the entire book until the last page portrays the imaginative play which makes her animals come alive! Charles Fuge has written a few other children’s books that I have not read yet as well.

JDaniel has a friend that loves rhinos. I will have to look for this book for him.
