Bop-It Game Review and Giveaway

Still too cold outside to go out and play? Gearing up to wade through the rainy season? Why not grab Bop-It for some quality family game time! We received Bop-It to play – who knew such a little thing would be so much fun? When I first read about the game I really didn’t think much about it. But when we received it, and started playing it, it was quite addictive! Even my 4 year old is playing it- we started actually leaving the game in the car for him to play while we were driving!! 

And my husband? He is TOTALLY addicted to Bop-It! 
So how do you play? 
The machine tells you what to do- and you have to follow it! Sounds easy huh? That would depend on your definition of easy! You have to Bop, Pull, Twist, and Shout in different sequences! If you don’t do it fast enough- you lose! There is a single player mode, as well as a party mode where you can have multiple players. Work up through the different levels, and add new steps to the craziness with each higher level you reach. It is geared for ages 8 and up, but my 4 year old can play the beginner level with no problem. In fact I’ve found that it’s a really great developmental game for him to respond quick enough to the game’s command! It even keeps track of the highest score to beat! 
It’s hilarious because while I am driving I hear “ARGH!” from the backseat when the Bop-It game tells my son to shout. It’s just too funny. Or when my husband is in another room and I hear him say “SHOUT!” at random intervals. One of these days I will have to sneak in and video tape him playing it!
We all loved this game! In fact my husband even takes it to his classroom for his 2nd graders to play. I know some of our other teacher friends use Bop-It in their classroom as well! The kids LOVE it! I love how this game spans a large age group. It’s cool for 8 year olds, and 38 year olds! Awesome for family nights, classroom activities, or parties! I definitely recommend Bop-It – it is worth having in your house!! Ours gets a TON of use. Barely a day has gone by in the past 2 weeks where it hasn’t been played. It’s small enough so you can throw it in your overnight bag, or school bag, or like we do- keep it in the car for road trips!
