Dollar Store DIY: Succulents Planter

It only costs a few dollars to make and when you are done you will have a real life succulents look for less money and less work. You can use it to decorate and bring some green into your house or pass it along as a teacher appreciation gift!

Supplies needed:

Terra cotta flower pot
Craft paint in choice of colors
Paint brush
Faux succulents (Sold at most Dollar Tree stores)
Small craft pebbles

Directions:

1. Begin by adding your flower pot designs. You can do this with your craft paint and craft brush. Just crate some random striping and allow to dry.

2. Once your paint is dry, you can add your succulents. Remove them from the plastic pots they come in. Fill the pot with the craft pebbles. These will help hold the succulents in place.

3. Add your succulents. Stick them deep into the stones so they are secure. Your succulents are now ready to be displayed. They won’t require any sun, water, or care! Just set them out and enjoy.
