Wind Farms in Indiana

If you’ve never driven past a wind farm it’s quite an interesting site to see! Above I took a picture of just one row of wind turbines we drove past in Indiana over the weekend but these wind turbines literally cover as far as you can see in all directions! Most of the time these wind farms are put in place to help offset the cost of electricity.
Even NASA has been researching various ways to create balloon-like wind farms to help generate electricity for entire communities! And Google has jumped in and now supports 2 wind farms that power electricity to over 55,000 homes. You can read more news on wind farms here. I know we even saw small wind turbines for sale at Sam’s Club a while back that my husband had talked about!
