Good Report Card Reward Ideas + Report Card FREEBIES

Good report cards are always something to celebrate, but so are improved report card grades too! Rewarding hard work in school has been a solid motivator for my middle school son and as soon as he starts slipping a little in school he remembers our family deal. Every time report cards come out he has the chance to earn $15 towards video games for his retro consoles. He can use it right away or roll it up and save it all till the end of the school year. Below are some good report card reward ideas PLUS current report card freebies this year!

Not everyone is an A student, or even a B student. Don’t penalize your kids just because they struggle! Although report card freebies in stores typically only reward A and/or B grades, you can instill a system that works for you in your family. And it doesn’t have to be monetary or even food related! Below are some ideas but you can come up with a plan that works for you!

Good Report Card Reward Ideas:

There are an endless amount of ideas to celebrate good report cards and below are a few reward ideas to get you started:

  • Buy a new book!
  • Visit a museum!
  • Head out for a special dinner or dessert!
  • Buy a new video game! or LEGO set!
  • Go camping on the last day of school! Or head out for a mini-weekend getaway to celebrate!
  • Kid’s choice family night! – Go to the movies, bowling, mini-golfing, laser tag, etc.!
