Dressing Comfortably and Professionally- for your Feet!

When we lived in the Chicago area I had this great corporate job and worked in a research lab- the downside? Having to wear close-toed shoes! Seriously- I am totally a flip flops sort of girl- and always have been! And now that I’ve been home with the kids the past 5 years I can totally live out my shoe-less dream! 🙂 But I’m headed to BlogHer in San Diego in a few weeks and flip flops are SO not professional! Even I know that! So I’m on the hunt for some nice looking comfortable shoes…..that aren’t flip flops!
Naturalizer is sponsoring a few lucky attenders to BlogHer by helping cover conferences fees, and allowing bloggers to pass out FREE shoes to conference attenders! Because I can bet you after walking around ALL day in dress shoes there will be quite a few blisters and sore feet!! I am hoping to partner with Naturalizer and “rescue” BlogHer attendees by passing out some of their shoes! Because let’s face it- I am ALL about comfort! It’s not comfortable you will not see me wearing it! But just because you want comfort does not mean you have to give up fashion. I have been able to find some amazing fashionable and comfortable items for a great price! You just have to keep an eye out for sales, and be willing to invest on a good product.

So instead of wearing flip flops to BlogHer, I am on the hunt for some comfortable and fashionable (and affordable!) shoes! Where do you buy your shoes? I plan on wearing my shoes at home and around town for a while before BlogHer to make sure that I myself will not get blisters or sore feet! If I get to be one of the lucky few to partner with Naturalizer I will be tweeting live from BlogHer looking to rescue those poor bloggers with blisters- because I will NOT be one!! 🙂

Disclosure: This opportunity was presented to me by Naturalizer and the Brown Shoe Company, through MyBlogSpark. This post serves as my entry to win a sponsorship for my attendance at the 2011 BlogHer Conference.
