Oh, pitty that the post showed up on FB on the 7th early in the morning here! Would have loved to download this app. As I work in a Thai school with limited to no budget and I have to ‘scavenge’ resources. Love your stuff and it’s very very useful. I tried downloading the hooked on phonics app for free on teacher appreciation day and it said app is being modified try again later and I did maybe 5 minutes later and now it’s says49.99 anyone else having issues??
I was so excited to see this available for free, but it is trying to charge me 49.99. Can this issue be resolved? Thank you for your time.

Was there a time frame for this aside form just today (4/6)? It does not say free on the app at all. There is a free app but the classroom version still reads $49.99. Kind of disappointed.
Sorry, I meant 5/6. I am just noticing the time stamp on my comment is east coast (I am on the west coast) time so that may be the issue.
I wasn’t able to get the app for free. They wanted $49 for it, even though I tried to download it before midnight.

It was true – many people downloaded it with no problems. It was only available for a specific date and ended late at night, which depending on what time zone you are in, may have missed it
I’m a teacher and I missed the free app sale for hooked on phonics. Would like to see it free again.
I’m so sad I missed this. A colleague posted this on fb last night and it had already expired. I teach kindergarten at at Title 1 school as was so excited at the thought of getting this program for my students. What a wonderful gift to show your appreciation to teachers everywhere!
