Starting February 14, 2012, you can apply for an Elmer’s Teacher Tool Kit grant that can range from $100 to $500. The grants will be given to teachers who wish to conduct classroom projects selected from our storehouse of projects collected during the past 12 years of the Teacher Grants program. This year, approximately 250 grants sponsored by Elmer’s will be provided to teachers nationwide for projects to be completed during the upcoming 2012-2013 school year.

You can start looking now at the Award Winning Project Ideas for the perfect project for your own classroom.

The Elmer’s Teacher Tool Kit grant awards will be based on:
  • financial need
  • description of how the particular project meets the educational needs of the students and satisfies the state standards or curriculum requirements of the school
  • the number of students who will benefit from the project
Note: Special consideration will be given to first year teachers, but all certified K-12 teachers are encouraged to apply.

You can learn more about this grant at the Kids in Need Foundation website!
