UP UP AND AWAY! HERE WE GO! We’re diving right into DAY 4 of our “I am Amelia Earhart” unity study – there are SO many great ideas here!
ART
Sky Collage- We used torn blue paper, paint, felt, and stuffing to create a multi-sensory sky scene. I laid out a tray of sky and cloud like items and let the kids go wild and glue on items to create a fun collage.
ACTIVITIES
Set records just like Amelia Earhart-Have your child do various activities and time them to get their base time, running from one side of the yard to the other, going across monkey bars, swimming from one side of the pool to the other, etc.
SNACK
Pretzel Stick Planes– Dip pretzel sticks into melted chocolate, add a little extra to the center of one for “glue”- and cross it with another to create a whole fleet of planes.
