Dr. Seuss Party at Target

On Saturday we went to Target to participate in the “Read Across America” which happens once every year. This was our 2nd annual trip to the Target Seuss Party-and we love it! Our Target has bean bags and rugs set out for the kids to all sit on, and throughout the morning they read Dr. Seuss stories and giveaway little goody bags!

As soon as we got there all of our kids were handed special Target bags with coloring books, crayons, crackers, juice, fruit snacks, coupons, bookmarks, and a few other goodies.
The kids even got to pick out which Dr. Seuss book that was read to them!
We took a few minutes out to color our Dr. Seuss mazes….
Can it get any better? Here are the kids – both 3 years old – listening to Dr. Seuss books being read! How’s that for promoting literacy!
