Upcoming Branson Family Travel & DEALS #ExploreBranson

This has been an INSANELY busy summer for us but one PACKED FULL of memories and wonderful travels as we’ve road tripped it from Iowa to Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and now we’re headed next week to Arkansas and Missouri! What I’m really excited about next week which is our sponsored family press trip for 3 nights to Branson, Missouri where we’ll get to stay at the gorgeous Welk Resort and also check out Silver Dollar City, the Stunt Dog Experience, Jonah the Musical, the Titanic Museum, White Water, the Showboat Branson Belle and SO many other things – we’re going to be BUSY! We made a quick trip for the first time to Branson last fall and visited Ripley’s Believe it or Not and Fantastic Caverns (just outside of Branson) which made for an amazing weekend! Ever since my kids have been BEGGING to go back and visit some more of the local attractions (and there are hundreds!)

I absolutely LOVE covering Family Travel on Surviving a Teacher’s Salary because I know if you’re anything like our family we LOVE traveling and the opportunity to travel is a really special time as I know budgets can be tight. Our family mostly travels by road trips to save money so pretty much anything within 12 hours of us is game for a long weekend travel trip – and that includes Branson! (one nice perk of living in the midwest….we’re fairly centrally located!) Over the next few weeks once we begin our road trip I’ll be blogging about each attraction that we visit so you guys can share the experience with me and see the ups & downs in case you’re considering a visit to Branson too so brace yourself for plenty of fun pictures and experiences!
