MOSI2

One of our family’s favorite things to do during the summers are fun educational activities like playing outdoors and visiting museums! One museum in particular, the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry has begun their Summer Brain Games! It’s a FREE online Science Program which lasts 8 weeks (through August 12, 2013) and every week they send your an e-newsletter with educational science activities that you can do with your kids of all ages! PLUS when you register (for FREE!) you’ll receive a FREE ticket to visit the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago! My first e-mail was FULL of goodies and discounts! AND it’s in both English & Spanish.

I signed up last week for the Summer Brain Games week and we had balloon races with our kids! I just got the second newsletter and it is full of ideas to plant with your kids! What I love is that they also offer a printable PDF format of the activities so that if you don’t have time to do the activities right away, or if you’re out of town visiting family like we are, you can take your printable activity with you!

Have you ever been to the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry? I couldn’t find any photos from our last trip there but it is AWESOME! It’s HUGE & there are just SO many things to see and do! From the human body to trains and planes you can easily spend an entire day there learning and enjoying the exhibits.

  1. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and I LOVE the Museum of Science and Industry! Thanks for doing this giveaway, tickets are SO expensive! We went to the Museum when my daughter was about 18 months old for the Jim Henson exhibit, so it would be so fun to take her back now that she is almost four and would be a lot more interested in everything.

  2. Thanks for the giveaway! I registered for brain games and the exhibit we would love to see is the submarine 🙂 As for our favoite summer activity, I would have to say swimming. We don’t get to do that for very long in the midwest!

  3. My three girls love the Milwaukee Public Museum. They will go cuckoo at MSI. I am really excited to watch them use the whispering gallery.
